That
depends a lot on how far off the floor it fell, whether it was concrete
or carpet, and whether it sunk to the bottom of the swamp, or
just got splashed.
Once
your unit is on the bench, we'll be able to determine just that, and
contact you with all of the costs involved, before any work is performed, and how long
your unit's stay with us will be.
We do all we can to make the
repair process painless as possible.
Floppy Disk Mavica's:
If your camera is displaying Disk Error, C:13:01, C:32:01,
and you've tried to format a new disk (using your computer, w/ FULL
format option) with no success, then your cameras' drive will need to be repaired, rebuilt or replaced.
CD Mavica's:
If your camera is displaying Disk
Error, C:13:01, or you hear
a clicking sound, and have tried a new CD-R disk with no success, then,
more than likely, the drive assembly needs to be repaired, rebuilt or replaced.. For repair or rebuild, expect to pay major labor.
Once your camera is on the bench, we'll be able to determine if we can repair or rebuild your camera's drive. New parts aren't available any longer, so it possible that your camera will be unrepairable. We'll let you know if we can help you and provide you with all the costs up front, before any work is performed.
